Terms of use
Plain terms for a free tool: verify the output, convert only statements you are entitled to hold, and treat the guides as information rather than advice.
The service
This is a free tool that reads a PDF bank statement you provide and returns the transactions as a CSV or Excel file. It does not connect to any bank, does not require credentials, and cannot retrieve statements on your behalf.
Accuracy and verification
Extraction is accurate but not guaranteed, particularly on scanned or low-quality documents. You are responsible for verifying the output before relying on it. The standard check is that the opening balance plus the sum of the amount column equals the closing balance printed on the statement.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. Guidance on retention periods, tax categories and lending criteria is general information and varies by jurisdiction and circumstance.
Acceptable use
Convert statements you are entitled to hold: your own, your business's, or a client's with their authorisation. Do not use the service to process documents you obtained without permission, and do not attempt to alter a statement's content and present it as genuine.
No affiliation
This service is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any bank or financial institution. Bank names are used only to describe compatibility with statements those institutions issue.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for loss arising from use of the output, which is why the verification step above matters.
